The double major and minor protocol between our department and the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, which will take effect in the spring semester of 2024-2025, was signed with a signing ceremony. Assoc attended the ceremony. Prof. Necip Dündar, Head of the Department, Assist. Prof. Kenan Koç, Vice Head of the Department, Assoc. Prof. Yunus Koç, Head of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, and Assoc. Prof. Veysel Ergüç, Vice Head of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration.

Speaking at the ceremony, our Head of Department, Assoc. Prof. Necip Dündar emphasized the opportunities this protocol offers for students and said, “Thanks to this cooperation, our students will gain competence in two important fields such as economics and political science. This will make our graduates more well-equipped professionals with high powers of analysis and a broad vision. This interdisciplinary approach will enable our students to make a difference in both academic and business life.”

Our Deputy Head of the Department Assist. Prof. Kenan Koç stated that this program will provide great benefits to the students of our department in terms of both theory and practice and said, “Our students will improve their analytical thinking skills by combining knowledge in different fields. This dual disciplinary education, especially in public policy and economics, will reinforce their success in business life.”
