The Department of Economics focuses on the system of economy, the market, the state's intervention in the economy, and the effects of economic activities on cost, profit, employment, unemployment, inflation, growth, and development at the national and international level. In this respect, the department aims to understand and explain the changes in the economic, political, social, and legal fields at the national and international level.

Under the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Mus Alparslan University, The Department of Economics was established in the 2011-2012 and has gained strong academic staff with 2 Professors, 4 Assistant Professor and 4 Research Assistant. The department consists of four departments: “Economic Theory”, “Economic History”, “Economic Development and International Economics”, “Economic Policy”.

Our Department of Economics aims to educate students who have competence to analyze, and interpret in main areas such as micro, macro, international economics, economic growth and development in the economic issue. Students who graduate from the department have job opportunities in many public institutions and private sectors.
